Description (EN):

The project aims to capitalize the cultural heritage of Vaslui County and Soroca District. Two historical sites are restored - ”Podul Inalt” (Vaslui -Romania), and the fortress of Soroca (Republic of Moldova) - both realted to the victories of Voievod Stephen the Great. Annual festivals in both countries and historical symposiums will improve cross border tourism potential as well as the partnerships between the communities in Vaslui County and Soroca District.

Expected Results (EN):

Restored moldavian cultural and historical site - Soroca fortress (1). Restored romanian cultural and historical site - The Monumental Ensemble „Podul Inalt ” (1). Promoted and capitalized cultural and historical heritage (2). A developed strategy for the visibility of historical touristic objectives (1). Established inovative and creative cultural dialog between Vaslui County Museum and Soroca History and Ethnography Museum (1).

Expected Outputs (EN):

Number of symposiums organized (1) - dedicated to the personality and historical facts of voivode Stefan cel Mare but also to the historical monuments of Vaslui County that belonged to the epoch of the great leader of the country of Moldova. Number of itinerant thematic exhibitions organized (1) - held with innovative methods of presenting the common historical cultural heritage. Number of medieval festivals organized (2) - for promoting and capitalizing on the common cultural heritage of Vaslui County and Soroca District areas. Number of improved cultural and historical sites in Soroca District, Republic of Moldova (1). Number of improved cultural and historical sites in Vaslui County, Romania (1).
